As the day close by we embrace,
Hurrying to complete our last minute shopping,
Men and women without the thought of race,
Can be seen everywhere busy choosing and selecting,

To find the perfect gift of joy,
For their close ones and friends alike,
Some may missed the right choice...oh boy,
But the recipient will still happily accept it with like,

No wonder the crime rate went down,
Caused the whole city is busy with their Christmas gifts,
Shops by shops, complexes by complexes as they disown,
Haggling and bargaining without any rift,

Finding the right present with the right touch,
It requires some patience and understanding,
Exhausting all their free time including missing their lunch,
The worst is when you can hear the jingle bell is ringing,

This is when you know that Christmas is nearing,
No way you can run but start to spend more,
To show that you are as caring and caring,
By visiting and spending on all the glittering gifts shop galore,

Husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend, uncle and aunty are all not spare,
They to need to shower their other half with expensive present,
Special request for something out of ordinary and rare,
It goes all the way to online ordering for the gift to be sent,

Pressures can be felt up to the management level,
They too spend thousand of ringgits to pamper their staff,
So that everyone in their organizations will work harder as they revel,
Not only do they deserved the expensive gifts but also a day off,

What a Christmas Gifts shopping scene,
Infesting and ravaging everyone from the society,
It is worst that bursting an acne,
The pain and grouses can be hear all across the humanity,

But above all, lies the great truth of caring,
Followed by the spirit of giving,
Though some prefers to do their sharing,
All in all, Christmas brings everyone closer by making our life full of meaning!

Bringing life and hope to many,
Can even cure the toughest wound,

Full Moon…

Clear dark sky without clouds,
As the night fall without thoughts,
From afar I can hear you shout aloud,
Bringing me closer to you about,

The darkness makes me feel so afraid,
Slowly pulling myself together in a cage,
Hoping that someone will come to my aid,
Before the darkness swallowed me in rage,

As I woke myself up from the dream,
So deep into it till I’ve forgotten reality,
From the window pane I could see a gleam,
As I gain my consciousness and ability,

Realizing that the night is not without emptiness,
Full moon it was, shinning brightly afar,
Brightens up the whole dark sky with its grandness,
Nothing can beats its beauty and not even on par,

Even we are millions miles apart,
But you always there to shine and show me the right path,
Never to make a wrong turn and depart,
Carefully making each choice and decision to avoid wrath,

Your present makes me feel so blessed,
The torch you provided gives me strength and vision,
I can easily forgotten about how much I’m being stressed,
Like you I hope I can live my life fully with purpose and mission!

A car beyond my touch,
A brand that command status,
No regret owning her I can vouch,
She can easily speed faster than a Lotus,

A misconception among youngster,
BMW is equivalent to Bring More Woman,
The best of its class is the Z4 roadster,
Girls shouting in awe to meet the driver man,

Known to bring the Sheer Driving Pleasure,
Won many accolades for its supremacy,
A driving experience not to be forgotten but treasure,
Even his closest competitor fall without mercy,

Day dreaming I may seem,
Unknown that it may never happen,
To dream to make my self-esteem,
To make miracle and see through the dampen,

Dream will not bring me closer,
But hard work and sheer determination may,
The choice is up to me either to be an owner or poser,
As for now, I can only focus and pray,

Hoping that one day the dream can become reality,
Converting a WIRA to BMW maybe a very impossible task,
Sometimes you need to do the impossible and go beyond commonality,

6-Cheezy-Packs-Diet... (only for the brave!)

Wake-up at 6am, eat banana for breakfast,
Rest of the day stay away from food and fast,
I wonder how long you can last,
Without makan and minum living in aghast,

No Coffee and Cheesecake for the rest of days,
Not even the thought of having satays,
Why I can’t I have my own ways,
There goes all my food hoorays,

Some even try the “ikat perut” act,
But that is not going to stop the gastric acid to react,
Only a fool will believe such a pact,
Causing more damage and pain that’s a fact,

A diet program meant for the brave,
To achieve the objective we need to starve,
Not to mentioned sacrificing all our have,
Slowly digging our way to our grave...

1 year ONniversary!

A year has passed and gone,
Remembered when I first joined and I’m all alone,
But today I’m filled with great people that hone,
Even almost meeting my own clone,

He is like a good buddy and brother,
As we move along we learn and gather,
An important lesson we learned that make things smoother,
Birds of the same feather will eventually flock together,

As the day passed we formed our strong brotherhood,
Was made solid by our trustworthiness without the shed of blood,
Sometimes we may lost ourselves in the wood,
Seeking for the answer that will only do us good,

Along the way I found a great mentor,
Taught me many things and also act as a tutor,
Her mind is sharp as a razor,
Although sometimes she can be mean and hector,

But she is not all of that but instead can be friendly,
She easily brightens up your day with her charm and bubbly,
Heard that she is a MENSA member that scored perfectly,
Putting you into shame on a game of Sudoku inevitably,

Known for his infamous graphics skill,
He is like a creative artist working in a mill,
Slowly crafting the great effects with his hand still,
He always has a good sense of humor that makes our day filled,

Went for the black-belt training,
Get to know a buddy while sparring,
She may be small but have a big heart in attacking,
Do not underestimate her ability as you will be left lurching,

Together we were made Sensei Silat,
To fight off all our enemies with our keris swinging like a kilat,
Was lucky to pair with her rather than a malat,
She always reminds me to watch my words and don’t be so jialat,

He is a known for his Mr. Nice guy attitude,
He was also part of the group, who went for the altitude,
Together we all scale and overcame Mt. Kinabalu’s fortitude,
A great planner and organizer which deserved our gratitude,

Loud and clattering as she may sound,
A great voice and singer that pound,
Her intelligent will make you astound,
Her popularity goes beyond bound,

Although many have come and go,
Only left are memories not to forgo,
In a friendship it always takes two to tango,
So that the joy and laughter spent will overcome any ego,

These are the people that make my day great,
Something to look forward to each day with upbeat,
Although sometimes it maybe overheated but we need to handle with caveat,
To avoid any misconstrue that may appear so neat,

Each of them having different personality and character,
They have taught me so many things about life and work for the better,
I have never met so many nice people in a boat full of course charter,
Providing me with guides and hints like a pace-setter,

Friends can be colleague and colleague can be friends,
Once the pact has been made it will remain till the end,
Struggles and misunderstanding may come in between but we fend,
It is through such adversities that we learn and tend,

Shifted 3 places and I finally found my second home,
Which I will be spending the rest of my time building my dome,
To build and make it as high as the empire Rome,
Learning and facing each of the challenges that come,

I may not be the victor at the end of the day,
But I will definitely enjoy my time and stay,
No one knows how long this can last as per say,
Let’s not be shaded by the uncertainties and enjoy it as per may!

A show not to be forgotten…

Went for a great show on last Friday evening,
The act was good and enlivening,
Was impressed with it because it’s so enticing,
All the actors did their best without compromising,

24 songs altogether played to our cheer,
Everything was perfect except there is no beer,
But what a solid evening spent with my peer,
A great show and company is what I hold dear,

The songs was nicely put together with great creativity,
Good combinations and connectivity,
I was amazed by its fluency and quality,
It keeps me seeking and put me on my seat with great intensity,

The Wicked Pitches was the show and group name,
Consists of a group 15 highly talented individual and background without same,
All pursuing for one common purpose they came,
To sing and perform to their greatest fame!

Something About Love…

Of a very intriguing nature,
Cannot be measure by its stature,
Best to be consume while it is still pure,
Lost its fidelity if you are being lure,

Known no boundary and state,
Opportunity only arises by fate,
Its greatest enemy is hate,
Even the strongest love it can eradicate,

Many have fallen into its trap,
Reality and imagination is only separated by a gap,
As fragile like a brittle concrete that can easily be snap,
Denial will only prolongs struggle followed by eventual mishap,

Every soul will seek for the perfect score,
Always greedy and naïve asking for more,
Not realizing that they are causing more pain and sore,
To be wise and patient while you explore,

"Love" is something beyond comprehension,
Requires mutual understanding and caring conjugated with passion,
Slight misunderstanding will only caused more tension,
To handle with great care and anticipation!

Another significant day not to be forgotten,

A great start for a wonderful day,
Every task is accomplish with a hooray,
It works well to keep you ahead and at bay,

From morning to night with fulfillment,
Never fails me with astonishment,

Slowly drugging myself with the caffeine,
Initially I thought it was all fine,

The effect of caffeine efficiently downsizing my system,

Heat up with high temperature in a pot,
Best to be enjoy while it’s hot,
Wrap with bamboo leaves around a knot,
Stopping myself from savaging you I cannot,

Just by looking at you my lips starts to wet,
Been thinking of you and have my mind set,

The taste and juiciness of you I couldn’t forget,

My life is full of uncertainties,
Cannot be measured and of unknown quantities,
What lies ahead of are all my realities,
Taking a step at a time to face my vulnerabilities,

Past is my history,

Future is my visionary,

A few changes since I made my commitment,
To live life fully without any resentment,

Someone who is jobless,

Lazy Weekend...

The weather outside was hot and hazy,
Stuck on my bed that is nice and cozy,
Reluctant to rise up caused I’m lazy,
A sudden headache that makes me dizzy,

This could be well my unproductive day,
Resting and lazing on a morning Sunday,
Everything I see looks like a complex array,
Feeling fatigue and tired due to the sun ray,

Had my brunch while watching fear factor,
Looking at the food served triggered my sensor,
A sudden feeling of nausea thanks to the creator,
Stomach waiting to explode like a nuclear reactor,

Sounds like my typical weekend that is slow and steady,
It’s a good and recommended body and mind remedy,
To restart my engine and make myself ready,
For an upcoming week that is full of storms and windy!

Today marked the fifth year,
Insurmountable suffering to bear,
The scream could still be hear,
Shouting and screaming in fear,

Thinking of their loved ones makes you feel so dear,
Although the skies are now clear,
But for those who lost their loved can still feel the sears,
Even from afar we could hear their tears,

Let us all take a moment of silence,
To pay respect for those who fought to the last line of defence,
Without giving up and defiance,
They are our hero and heroin we should used as our reference,

Giving life is abundance,
Taking life in an instance,
For those who had sins should seek for repentance,
In hope of a second chance!

Hei Mee... a.k.a. Prawn Noodle…

Its main ingredients contain of prawn based soup and noodle,
It’s not that oily but shiny when they are mix in a bundle,
It’s the perfect food to eat and to mingle,
Sucking the noodle with great enthusiasm till the soup dribble,

Top layer filled with egg, vegetables and chicken meat,
One look at it you will be drooling and can’t wait to eat,
Adding more sambal to the soup makes the taste hot with extra heat,
No wonder many are willing to do so to give their taste bud that extra treat,

Best to eat during cool weather especially after rain,
It helps you to cool down faster and makes the heat drain,
No matter how spicy or hot the soup is, it’ll eventually be in vain,
But to caution not to burn your tongue with the hot soup that may slain,

The combination of the soup and the ingredients makes the taste so everlasting,
Once you have tasted it, it keeps coming back to you wanting,
The desire for Hei Mee will only continue to be growing,
Only to be met once the desire is filled and satisfying!

The Badminton Player...

He played with all his heart and strength,
Going after each shuttles with great length,
Never wanted to miss that his way,
Sometimes he just dive for the slay,

Aggressive and submissive to the game,
Always finding fault and blame,
Strong-headed and unforgiving that was him,
Only to realize all the while he was too grim,

He may have stumble and fall,
An opportunity in disguise for him to recall,
To forget about the past and gall,
Learning and applying on how to play small,

Playing the game with much more relax,
To have better self-control and not to max,
Slowly loosen up and be anti-climax,

Is a lifelong learning process,
Involved many ups and down without recess,
Requires great patience and perseverance,

I’m the longkang bowler,
Every throws bring the longkang closer,
Never missed the longkang with each roller,
Sometimes I wonder why I’m such a longkang winner,

I may have fallen in love with the longkang,
Tried many styles including the kangkang,
Even throwing ball with me squezzing my pinggang,
Every attempt failed and I’m now benggang,

Orh longkang bowler all around,
What makes us so unique and round,
Desperately in need of a turnaround,
To avoid the lonkang and hit the ground,

Should we just give up and call it a day,
The longkang always seems to stand in the way,

It’s like a disease that affects every soul,
Making you feel weak and foul,
Strikes on the first day of the week,
Its presence makes you look like a freak,

Lack of sleep and rest,
The cause of this unrest,
Impossible to cure it may seem,
But a glimpse of hope that gleam,

It starts by sabotaging your day,
Disarmed your concentration by mid day,
Seeing and doing things with dismay,
Eventually everything falls apart into ashtray,

Not to give in without a fight,
To conquer with all your might,
Not to let our day slip out of sight,
To make it a day as meaningful and bright!

To gain us the freedom from the colonial influence,

Malaysia a country we love,
With our all our hearts we groove,
With determination and perseverance as our prove,
Even mountains we could move,

Flying the Jalur Gemilang with pride,
To show a nation of great stride,
Based on the 5 Rukun Negara principles we ride,
To keep in mind side-by-side,

Negaraku is our national anthem,
Singing aloud with the rhythm,
Making it sound like a poem,
For an instance forgetting all my problems,

Vision 2020 is our objective,
To reach there we need to be proactive,
To look beyond our imaginative,
Always stay positive and competitive,

She is made of a country of multi-ethnics,
Not to be undermine with grime politics,
Many try to hurt her with their crafty tactics,
But she will remain strong and static,

Patriotism is what is missing,
To be instill in our thinking,
Whether or not is to our liking,

It is not any common test,
To do well you need to be at your best,
Thinking about it day and night without rest,
Searching for the answer from east to west,

Consider most difficult test I've ever encountered,
Eventhough I've gone through many battered,

All in a day...

Wake up early in the morning,
Wash myself to feel refreshing,
Get ready and get going,
No time for breakfast or jogging,

Start the engine and start driving,
Skip the traffic to avoid jamming,
After the toll i'm off speeding,
Cars after cars i'm passing,

Reach office right on the timing,
Start my day with some munching,
While munching do my newspaper reading,
After breakfast time to start working,

A hectic day with plenty of thinking,
For a developer what else but coding,
Issues found requires deep debugging,
In order to come up with a fixing,

Clock struck 12pm time for lunching,
Those who are late will be left lurching,
Where else but Midvalley we are heading,
Luck plays an important role to find a parking,

Common lunch place will be crowding,
Food court is our favourite place for eating,
Plenty of varieties but all requires queuing,
Stomache growling while waiting,

Once the food is served i start filling,
Going all the way to make my stomache satisfying,
After lunch we go for window shopping,
Usually will stop by MPH for some reading,

Back to office on time to avoid complaining,
Although it was a short lunch but it's fulfilling,
Drinking a hot cup of coffee for energizing,
The caffeine function to prevent me from dozing,

Can hear keyboard sound typing,
Looks like everyone is back to working,
But as the hours passed by is slowing,
Waiting for the clock to strike 5pm we are hoping,

As the 5pm time closes by we are packing,
Getting ready to go home for dining,
One last word before we are leaving,
Goodbye to all and good evening!

today is 6th JUNE 2006... a.k.a 06.06.06!

for hokkien people, it's pronounced as "luck luck luck" or triple luck! therefore, some will treat this day as an aupicious day to do their wedding. according to the local The Star newspaper, there'll be alot of couples that will be tying the knot on this day itself.

but for majority of the world, it's known as the Devil's Day or the birth of Satan! It caused quite a stir around the world as people are either terrified by today's date or worried it could be the Doom's Day (or Hari Kiamat in bahasa melayu) and also the end of human civilization.

to make things worse or to add more fuel to the fire, Hollywood producers decided to premiere the remake of the world-known horror film, The Omen, which tells the story of anti-Christ, on this very day.

as for me, it's just another day which everything will be about the same... wake up, go to work, do my breakfast, enjoy my lunch, kick-up a few work orders, get ready for all my meetings, and end the day with a good and wonderful dinner at KG! what's more could I asked for? I guess so long as we enjoyed ourselves and never live a single moment regretting it, we've already done our best! so what are you waiting for? go out and make your day the "best" or "worst"... up to your CHOICE! afterall, in less than 15mins time, we'll find out whether we'll live through this day to enjoy another nice, bright and beautiful tomorrow!
