It’s just like any other fine Saturday except it’s my 2nd non-working Saturday after some time. Apart from that I went for a small surgery (Sebaceous Gland). It was my 1st time I’m doing a surgery. You know going through the procedures. It’s really an eye-opener for me. The need to put on the sexy piece of cloth (not too comfortable but after sometime I just got used to it), lying on top of a hospital bed waiting eagerly for my turn to be sliced open to remove the piece of meat, being push on the wheelchair barefooted to the surgery room and then transferred to a movable bed and covered with blanket in full except my head (lying there stationary for sometime like a piece of wood until I asked them what I was waiting and they told me waiting for the surgeon). The part which I’m not too used to is surrounded by nurses and people pushing me here and there. Hmmmm… not saying I’m enjoying the process but I feel weird and uncomfortable and at many times I asked whether I can walk on my own or not but the nurses said it’s part of the hospital procedures and I guess it applies everywhere else. Finally, I get my chance to enter the surgery room or operation theatre. By the way, did I mention that my surgery initially supposed to be scheduled at 8:30AM but was delayed till around 11 AM because there was an emergency case whereby a mum need to do a caesarian delivery. Hence I just waited for my turn lo. Anyway, back to the surgery room, again I was surrounded by even more people and equipments and was again transferred from the movable bed to the surgery bed. All in all, I think I was transferred 3-4 times from my hospital bed to the surgery bed. Hmmm… Prior to the surgery, they (the nurses – 2 men and 4 woman) were deciding how they should positioned me caused the Sebaceous Gland growth is on the left top corner of my back. After a few tries, they finally decided to put me face-down so that I’m much comfortable that way. Then they tied my left leg against the bed. Not sure what’s that for. Maybe they worry in the middle of the surgery due to the pain, I may kick someone. Muahahaha… perhaps so:P After all the setups and this and that, finally the surgeon came in. He joke a little and ensure that this will be quick and I should not feel much pain and told me to let him know if I feels any pain during the surgery. Then, my left index finger was fixed to a detector which connects to a heart beat machine and I can hear my the machine beating sound pretty loudly… beep…beep…beep… (This reminds me of the many episodes in Grey’s Anatomy and how an operation theatre looks and feels like although those in the series look much more complicated with many more things and the watch tower). Then a nurse tried to inject antibiotic into my right hand while I gripped my palm to allow her to find my vein. I thought it won’t be that difficult for her to find it but somehow she try and try and poke deeper n deeper and finally she managed to reach the vein. While this is happening, the surgeon was injecting a few injections around the around of the growth. I felt like I was being bitten by a few mosquitoes or rather the pain is slightly more than that. The whole surgery took around 30-45minutes. Lucky for me, I didn’t feel any pain while the surgeon removed the growth apart from feeling as though there is something touching my back. After removal of the growth, he showed it to me… I can’t believe that that little piece of skin/growth/sebaceous gland is as big as a cashew nut. Because there are some tissues in it, they will need to send to the lab to further experiment it for any further complications or infections or such. Then I was transferred a few times again till I finally reached the hospital bed. After rested on my bed, was warned by the nurse not to got the washroom or avoid any movements for the 1st 30mins or so caused I may feel dizzy and when the anesthetic is gone, I may start to feel more pain. Luckily, I didn’t feel any of those and after resting for another 2hrs or so, I finally discharged myself. All in all, this is really something new to me and I hope not to experience it again. Was on my home bed for the rest of the day… what a Saturday! Glad everything went on smoothly and able to go back home safely! :)
P/s: I’m much more blessed and what I’ve gone through is nothing at all if was to compare to what the victims at China and Myanmar have to brave through. I’ll pray for them and hope things will be better soon…
Happy Wesak Day to All of you and May you be blessed always!

4th year anniversary... (the "CHANGE" factor)
Today mark the 4th year anniversary of my blog… though 4 years has passed but nothing much has changed here apart from the skins, some layout here and there and maybe some of the contents or the way I see and write things. But one thing for sure that changed the most is the people around me and me especially. So far, the change I experienced and from the feedbacks I gathered they are some which pretty positive while some are rather negative which requires a lot of work from my side to make things better. I know I’m so far away from the being “perfect” or “near-perfect” but I do constantly strive or trying my best to improve myself and make it a better self for me and the people around me. Well, it’s always easier to say than done and as the saying goes: “Old Habits Die Hard!” but if I continue to live my life with this idea that I can or will never be able to change those negative habits then I’m going nowhere or going around in circles. It’s never easy to “CHANGE”. It’s such a BIG word for a small thinking person like me to understand it. Yeah, again making the first step to change it’s not that difficult if you already had enough of your old and ugly self and slowly making the first move. The toughest part will be to preserve it. Ok, I’m trying to say something which is so obvious to many of us especially myself but I’m still saying it. The reason is simple, the way our brains works is pretty interesting and complex whereby if we constantly tell ourselves that I need to change and that with this change, I’ll bring in more goodness and happiness not just to myself and to the people around me will bring huge benefits then we are more likely to do the change as the incentives is far larger than ourselves (that is if you can convince yourself that it’s really beneficial caused some people may see it differently and for them, this could be some crazy guy trying to bring in some crazy ideas of change to himself whereby what he needs to change is to stop asking for change but instead treasure what he/she is having/enjoying now and be contented with it.), but I do really hope that one day all these changes that I’ve been seeking will be able to see the day. Yeah, it’s as simple as that. “You never try, you never know”. I guess in the science world, this is called as conditional thinking. Well then again, this could be untrue/very true depending on how you see and perceived things around you. Hell with it right, so long if it really works, who cares? Ehehe…
Putting the change factor aside, well one thing for sure that I’ll never change or it’ll be very hard for me to change unless I have amnesia or knockout and ended up in some coma or what, the two things I love the most apart from WTM (that goes without saying, if you don’t believe, checkout my post here) are:
My lovely favourite hot cuppa of cappuccino…

And my undying craving for cheesecake….

Without them, my world will never be the same again… muahaha… please don’t ask me to change and stop drinking coffee and eating cheesecake, you might’s well knock me out or give me an amnesia… :P
p/s: Orh yeah, here is my 1st post... not sure how or why or what got it started that way or perhaps sometimes there is no "why" or "how" or "what", we just need to live with it and enjoy it as it is... muahaha... I was so silly then... :P

Happy Mother’s Day!
A special occasion for all MUMS,
For all her sacrifices and contributions,
For which without, we’re none,
We’re always her number one attention,
She brings life to our little world,
Fill with happiness and loving care,
Even if it means all her time in the world,
Such is the mum’s love that is so rare,
Sometimes she may nag about this and that,
But that’s because she cares for us,
She’s so capable and wears many hats,
Taking care of all our daily needs without fuss,
In her eyes, we’re always this little child,
Trying to see through our life’s discoveries,
But she’ll always be there guiding us through its wild,
Recalling all the lessons and the fond memories,
We may have grown apart by age,
But her love and care will never wear,
Although we know one day she’ll leave our centre stage,
But we’ll do my best to love, treasure and care for her,
Mother’s Day celebration may come once a year,
But we should try to make every day a Mother’s Day for her,
Because of her, we are here,
Let’s not forget that and make it special for her!

some line of positive thoughts... cheers!!!
"Every good thought, every good word, every good emotion, and every act of kindness, is lifting the vibration of your being to new heights. And as you begin to raise your vibration, a new life and a new world will reveal itself to you."
"There is no limit to how high you can increase your vibration, because there is no limit to the good thoughts you can think, or the good words you can speak, or the acts of kindness that you can do. Other than transforming your own life through lifting your vibration, you lift others' lives too. The positive vibration of your energy emanates out like a stone thrown into water, touching our planet and every living thing on it. As you rise higher, you take the world with you."
~~Have a good week ahead! :)~~
