Overworked and personal life under threat???

Got this link from a close friend of mine. He too feel the same. Myself, frankly speaking sometimes do feel the same. I'm not sure whether this a "culture" or a "trend" here or not but seriously thinks that over-doing it will disadvantage the employer unless proper remuneration scheme is put in place for each contribution by their employee. Nevertheless to say, none of us as an "employee" can escaped this threat of being "overworked" cause the world has changed. Not the same as 90's where the employee got the say but now it's an "employer world" as all of knows. Therefore, sometimes it's only fair if we just live with it and lament lesser else it's just going to complicate our life further. But if these persisted for a long time and it's affecting badly our personal life and the life of our loved ones, then some actions need to be taken else we're just lying and betraying ourselves that what we have know is good enough where else it's not. One statement which i totally agrees with the author is: "While a career is important, there are millions of people who are able to find success without sacrificing their overall happiness. " So think no more and start to get the actions going either to find a better opportunities or explore the current one further and discover new opportunities. All the best! ;-)
