LRT -> Lousy Rail Transit

I think our public transportation system need some sort of "push" from the relevant authorities in order for them to perform accordingly and at least satisfy the customer need by providing punctual train timing and courteous service. Lately, both the commuter and lrt services have been going through some kind of slump. Timing out, train breakdown and impolite staff. I'm not sure what's the cause of such a lousy planning and nuisance behaviour. Could it be due to their company, KTM and Putra going through some sort of restructuring or retrenchment in progress? That's why the staff are taking this opportunities to "screwed up" the services as a way to show their dissatisfaction / protest. If so, why isn't the company doing anything to stop it or improve it? Are they enjoying all these? Seeing 2-3millions commuters sufferred each day due to their unethical problems? huh... I think no matter whether there's a problem within their organisations or not, they should mend it ASAP or try to settle it peacefully rather than causing all these unnecessary delays. If it's not due to any of these, it's even worst! Caused it's an eye-sore to see this kind service standards provided by KTM and PUTRA. Yeah, most of us couldn't deny that they are the only two train services around but please try their best to provide us with the deserved service. Looking at the amount we pay and the time wasted due to their delay each day. 1 or 2 mins is not an excuse. If the planning is properly done, all these won't come into play at all. I think it's time the government step in and do something about this before it's too late. Both KTM and PUTRA, are rotting and i think they need a boost or else some sort of competition from other providers. Look how effective it's when the government announced that they going to bring in more competitors to the broadband arena and asked Telekom to open their last loop for them... The immediate effect was a complete restructuring of the whole Telekom company itself and now known as TM instead. KTM and PUTRA are too comfortable with themselves and never even bother to upgrade their service. Worst still no maintenance is done else all those breakdowns wouldn't have occurred at the first place. Very disappointed and worried citizen... Are we going to head to Vision 2020 with such a transportation system? Huh!
