SIS's Wedding, Congatulations SIS!!!
Had a fun, tiring and great weekend! Yeah, that's right it was the greatest moment my sis could've ever imagined in her life. It's her wedding day! Hooray to my sis! While everyone was busy preparing before the arrival of the groom to pick the beautiful bride off my house, I was still enjoying my sleep on my nice little comfy bed. Then at around 7am, my younger sis woke me up from my bed and told me that the groom could be in by 7:30am and I was supposed to get ready before then to open the door for him. Hmmm... I was still blur then. Thought of getting another 15mins sleep before I get ready. Then came another knock on my door, it was my sis. Could hear her shouting from outside that she needed my room for her gathering with her "chee muis" before allowing the groom to pick her up. Sighed! I told myself, I must wake up at that moment as everyone so damn busy with their own duties and me feeling guilty now. Shouldn't had stayed till 3am the previous night with my geng. Anway, I quickly get myself ready. By 7:30+ we call could hear the sound of the horns from the cars of my to-be-brother in law. Muahahahaha.... I was already there getting ready to open the door for him and was expecting to get my big "ang pow"!!! hahahahaha... Once he got out of the car, he and the rest of the gang started to find ways to get into my room to get my sis out as all her chee muis were there to try their best to reach out a good deal for themselves. Due to the weather and the heat from the occasion, I was getting myself cool down in front of a big fan. Didn't missed much though cause could hear the chee muis shouting out their demands: 25 push-ups, sing "negaraku", sing "wo ai ne", shout "wo ai nee" and then after a string of negotiations and discussions, they finally agreed to let the groom. He handed of one the chee muis the ang pow which is full of coins. One cents i supposed so looking at the bronze color. HAhahahaha... not really all are one cents, there were oso notes of 10s and 50s. Not sure how much was the total sum but once they calculated it and agreed to it, they let the groom in and pick my sis. A big relief for the groom and his geng. Then came the usual tea ceremony where my sis and her groom was supposed to serve tea to my parents, granparents, and the rest of the relatives who are there. Me and the rest of my two younger sisters supposedly to serve my sis and her groom with tea but they agreed on just handshaking and we got our angpow from them. ehehehehe... Then they headed off to her mother-in law house and followed by wedding ceremony at the temple. We followed them to the temple and then finally rested at her new place at bandar botanic. Overall, it was a successful and wonderful event where I guess all of us had a good time especially the bride and the groom. By the time, I reached home as already too tired to do anything else except to lay myself on the bed and sleep for the rest of the afternoon. Orh yeah, the dinner was supposed to go on the following night but due to the restaurant being over-booked, my sis and brother in-law need to settle for tonight. So getting myself ready for my sis big night. Supposed to be her usherer and cameraman. Looking forward it...
