Happy Mother’s Day!

A special occasion for all MUMS,
For all her sacrifices and contributions,
For which without, we’re none,
We’re always her number one attention,

She brings life to our little world,
Fill with happiness and loving care,
Even if it means all her time in the world,
Such is the mum’s love that is so rare,

Sometimes she may nag about this and that,
But that’s because she cares for us,
She’s so capable and wears many hats,
Taking care of all our daily needs without fuss,

In her eyes, we’re always this little child,
Trying to see through our life’s discoveries,
But she’ll always be there guiding us through its wild,
Recalling all the lessons and the fond memories,

We may have grown apart by age,
But her love and care will never wear,
Although we know one day she’ll leave our centre stage,
But we’ll do my best to love, treasure and care for her,

Mother’s Day celebration may come once a year,
But we should try to make every day a Mother’s Day for her,
Because of her, we are here,
Let’s not forget that and make it special for her!
