Month of joy and celebrations,
Signified January has departed,
Counting down to CNY with anticipation,
Not to forgotten our NYR that we committed,
On the 1st we had twin celebrations,
One was the Federal Territory 33rd Anniversary,
And celebrated nationwide is the Thaipusam possessions,
Both bringing joy and happiness for any ordinary,
Coming 14th is the V-Day,
Where lovers express their love for each other,
Also known as the Saint Valentine’s Day,
Gifts comes in the form of chocolates or flowers altogether,
17th marks the CNY’s Eve,
Family of all shapes and sizes gather,
Everyone will talk big, laugh loud and eat more without leave,
In a big reunion dinner that brings prosperity forever,
On the 1st CNY day, sounds of crackers and fireworks,
Can be heard from across the streets and neighbours,
Changing into the your new CNY clothes that sparks,
Greeting parents and relatives "Gong Xi Fa Chai" for angpows,
CNY is celebrated for exactly a month,
Many cheers and beers are consumed,
To enliven the "red" event with laughter and smooth,
Not to be forgotten the lion dance that amused,
Buckled up for this crazy joyride,
Who knows you might strike yourself something great,
In this 28 days as we stride,
Seeking for goodness as we feats!

This year CNY doesn't seem to have the "atmosphere". Something is missing.
hmmm... why is tt? it should be plenty of fun and joy wat... maybe i tink u r referring to the new ruling where any1 shops or shopping malls which wan to play the CNY songs will have to pay an additional tax to them.... they consider these as an entertainment fees... but i ponders, why only know they can tink of such a smart way of charging us more? :|
p/s: if there's no atmosphere, then it's up to us to create one! :D
