CNY Aftermath…

Uncontrollable consumptions of the “sinful” food,
To satisfy not only a hunger but a desire,
Losing yourself into the realm of “makan” mood,
Wallowing and gobbling away in your own hire,

A disease or outbreak that many feared,
“Weight Gained” are the two big words that ticks,
Even the smallest of all could not survived,
From the intimidation of the “fats” that picks,

One step into the scale reveals all,
Nowhere to hide and seek,
The indicator tells as though the world will fall,
A big “SIGHED” in meek,

To be proud with cheer,
Accepting the fact that your tummy do grow,
Or to be shame with jeer,
Rejecting the idea with a raised eyebrow,

Rather go for the previous worth,
After all we are indeed in the “golden” pig year,
Expecting not only horizontal but fortunes growth,
Reality and imagination is just a thin line near!
