~SYZ Concert Live on 6th May 2006 @ Arena of Stars, Genting~

Last weekend me and a couple of my friends went over to Arena of Stars, Genting to catch the long awaiting concert of Sun Yan Zi. We've waited months for the actual day to come and finally it arrives. We took half a day and left the office around 2pm. It took us around an hour to reach the foothill where we had our lunch. After which, we continue our journey up the hill. Below are some of the pictures taken during our trip. I used up all the memory and the battery of my digital camera. Overall, it's a very well worth trip! I gues all of us had a very good time there. And for me this is my first SYZ concert although i've been following her since 1st album which released on June 2000 till today. Yup i'm a great fan of her and like all her songs pretty much. All her songs are very meaningful and simple to understand. Her soft yet impactful voice!

We stopped by at Restaurant Tak Kee for our lunch. We ordered a few dishes. Didn't managed to capture the food before they were all almost done... eheheheh... thanks to our hungry stomache!

Yup everyone of us enjoyed tasting this mango. It was sweet and nice. Haven't tasted such a good quality mango for sometime liao...

Yup... it's a 3-Storey restaurant located along the foothill together with many other restaurant. Yeah, there are many other restaurant around, we just settled for this since it got quite alot of crowd and it's not too far away from where we parked our car.

After another 20mins of drive from the foothill, we finally reached the peak. Upon exiting from the car park, there were foggy conditions everywhere and it's quite cold. Yeah, the kind of weather i luv!

We stopped by starbucks for our tea break while chit-chatting to pass our time before heading for the concert at 8pm. Look at the number of cups around but we only just have four of us. muahahahahah...

And the moment of truth... you can say i've waited almost all my life for this to happen and finally it did. How can you call yourself an idol of SYZ if you haven't ever attended one of her many concerts right? Yeah i have all her albums but that is still not enough cause without attending her concert, i still feel something is amiss... :S

crowds started to fill-up the seats inside the arena of stars. if you take a closer look, those white seats just right in-front of the stage are VIP seats. each seat cost around rm400 if i'm not mistaken. and those yellow seats right after the white seats cost around rm350 each. And her fan club members seated there dressed in their yellow t-shirt.

yup there she is... on her long black dress and coming out from the center of the stage through a special levered platform that slowly raised her up... cool!

After singing a couple of her songs, her best friend Tanya Chua appeared with her singing together... They sang this song particularly for both their family members who turned up to support them... wow nice!

[went for coffee bean after our KFC dinner... seated outside with the cold weather and the blowing mist while enjoying my cup of cold lemon zest...]


the whole trip took us around 12 hours. basically we left the peak around 1:30am. then soo dropped us at the office around 2:30am. and i drove speedily home and if i'm not mistaken i reached my home by 3am. was darn tired then. quickly wash-up and get myself ready for bed. a little thought before i closed my eye, it's really a well-deserved trip and i enjoyed it from the beginning till the end. wow... how i wish she'll be back again and i could see her again... i'm going to miss you again, SYZ!

P/s: sorry for all the blurry pics... i was seated almost towards the last few rows from the stage... how i wished i could be seated closer to the stage. at least can get a clearer view of my idol mah... :p
