I've been in the blogging arena since May 2004. And this month marked my 2nd year anniversary in the blogosphere! Am I excited or proud of it? Hmmm... not really... 2 years has passed and i'm still here. nothing much has changed since. I'm still what i'm today and still looking for my answers. Yeah that's right, trying to "Understand my life better..." by being "simple" but how to be simple? how simple is simple? Guess no one can answer that question except myself that where "I learn, I grow, I experience, I conquer!!!" Hmmm... hopefully the title of my blog suits my need well. After two years, still i'm searching for the answer... It's a neverending journey and one could only expect more to come! That's life! We can't just put a full-stop or stop the clock and take a break ?!?! We need to continuously move forward and ahead... Am I facing or having some sort of problem here? Of course not, I'm just trying to reflect what i've done the past two years and how it impact my life. Life is like a big ocean, the deeper you go into it, the more you could encounter... you may see beautiful corals, reefs and fishes along your way but at the same time, you maybe faced with unknown deep sea creatures which could be dangerous or can be useful to you as your transport to go deeper into the ocean, and who knows what you may discovered at the end of it, but does it have an end ?!?! It's up to us to discover it... ehehehehe...
Ok here's what i've changed to my blog throughout the past two years:
-changed my blog address a couple of times and now finally settled with edsimplicity.blogspot.com. why "edsimplicity"? The answer is pretty simple, i'm tryin to learn to be simple in everything i do and since i couldn't used the character "@" as my blog address and so happen my name starts with "ed" and hence that's how "edsimplicity" is born. not much of creativity needed on this :p
-i've changed the skin of this blog many many times as well. Same as my blog address, i've lost touched with the number of changes. but if i'm not mistaken the current skin is the 1st skin i choose when i 1st joined the blogging community. as you may noticed, after trying and going through some many changes, finally i still ended up with the same skin as my 1st! huh... maybe they should have more nice skins put available to be used as a blog template. of course, i could designed my own which i tried and failed. huh... i really don't have the flair in designing stuff!
Apart from the above two major changes, i guess everything still remanins the same. Maybe added or removed a couple of right hand side bar links. Writing style pretty much the same as my 1st day but hopefully my vocab and grammar have improved much since then. Here's a reminiscence of my 1st post!
What i hope for this coming year and the next? hmmm... probably change my writing style abit, improved on my vocab and reduce the number of grammatical errors, add more creativity to my thoughts, add more stuff on my RHS bar, if possible, come up with my own template, get more traffic to our my blog, and last but not least,
"Be Simple, Be Righteous, Be Smart and Be a Conqueror!"
