New Year Resolutions[Change I Must Change First Then Things Begin To Change]

It is already a new year 2007, and each time when the new year dawn upon us, we are either too excited or simply troubled about our New Year Resolutions. Same goes for me. We can have 1001 resolutions but how far are we to achieving them is depending on how resolute we are. In search of my resolutions, I was carried away by my thoughts and hence I started to write a simple 4-paragraph poem for each of the values, characters and attitudes that can help to bring us closer to achieving those RESOLUTIONS of ours. IMHO, it is never an easy task to achieve our resolutions but we great determination and perseverance, I'm sure we will do our very best to make them possible and sustainable!

P/s: All the best to all of you out there and hope this year 2007 will be a wonderful yet enjoyable year for us all. Let's ride the year 2007!

Knowing the limit of yourself,
Do not let remarks be your bother,
Living rightfully and be your good self,
By being Humble to Yourself and Others!

As years passed by without acknowledgement,
After reading so many books of Chicken Soup,
It is time to take the next step of development,
Let’s Be Matured and Grow Up!

How bad a day it could be,
Finding different solutions and ways,
Even when you felt like being sting by a bee,
You shall Be Well and Happy Always!

A very hot day with high temperatures,
What you seek is a refrigerator,
To put yourself inside and raptures,
Always be Cool and In Control like the Creator!

Eating, Drinking, Sleeping and Sitting like no other,
Slowly becoming an obese and ugly monster,
Only to be afraid by yourself and others,
Before it happens, let’s Stay Healthier and Fitter!

Before you could reach the stars,
You strive for the skies,
Next on the list is Planet Mars,
Always Be Hungry for Successes!

Had a Bad Day by Daniel Powter,
A song to remind us to turn things around,
It is our own will to make it good that matters,
By Being Optimistic and Positive!

Missing your plans and targets,
Who to be blame but yourself,
For all the diversions and distractions that you get,
Precaution by being A Disciplined and Committed Self!

The World you know yesterday is not the same as today,
Always changing and moving in a fast-paced,
Either you buckled up or slowly losing out each day,
We need to be Competitive and Challenging in this rat race!

They always ask and prove theories of the unproven,
They claimed themselves to be the smartest human being,
They are the Scientists that make our life even,
To find the unknown, We need to Stay Curious and Seeking!

IT as we know evolved by split seconds,
Systems of today will eventually be outdated,
Knowledge of today may not be applicable as we transcends,
To be on par and known we need to Stay Ahead and Updated!

Not to be taken for granted the gifts of life,
Each moments and seconds are as blissful,
We need to cherish them so long we are alive,
Always Be Cheerful and Thankful!

Every ideas and thoughts that come upon,
It is our responsible to fulfill,
With proper care and respond,
As Meaningful and Thoughtful!

Every fruits bear a taste,
Each of us has our own mouthful,
They represent their character or paste,
Most importantly is being Grateful and Respectful!

Lies will only take you this far,
Truth will bring you to your destination,
In our daily life we are constantly faced with liar,
Wiseman said: Be Honest to Yourself and Everyone without intention!

Knowledge is Power,
It will give you the edge,
To go beyond and empower,
Start by being Resourceful and Knowledgeable in this Age!

No tasks can be achieved with a mouth shut,
Especially when everyone is so reactive,
To do it correctly and speedily we need to shout,
Achieving each tasks by Being Initiative and Proactive!

No tasks can be seen as insurmountable,
This was proven by Einstein with his Theory of Relativity,
Like writing endless amount of Poems that seems impossible,
Thinking out of the box with Innovative and Creativity!

Coming across each decision lies a confirmation,
Even CEO always made the toughest decision with pain,
How sure we are to our decision lies with our affirmation,
Moving ahead with need to Be Affirmative and Certain!

Even the darkest clouds bestowed upon us,
Even everything seems to go against us,
We should not go awry and fuss,
It is a Virtue to Always Be Patient and Courteous!

The smell of it makes you arouse,
The taste of it makes you shock in temptations,
Too much of it will makes you go lose,
It is time to Reduce your Caffeine Consumptions!

Before you learn how to crawl,
You roll like a piece of log,
Before you learn how to swim,
You Learn How to Float Like a Frog!

Everyday go to work with a heavyweight,
It is not any ordinary luggage,
It can only be slash with some workout till eight,
By Loosing Off that Excess Baggage!

Each of us has our beginnings,
We can do more beyond our capability,
Let’s do something good before our endings,
By Contributing Back to the Society!

A simple message to be bear in mind,
Living life with the right principles,
Slowly and gracefully we unwind,
By Striving to be Complete yet Simple!
